Straightening and Color

• The treatment tends to lighten in a subtle way, sometimes the client does not notice it and if they do, the vast majority are satisfied with the tone achieved.
• Nourished and non-porous hair will tend to lose 1 tone (it can lighten the shade that the client has).
• You can correct warm tones by making them cooler.
• It never tends to fade towards red and orange tones. If it happens, it is the case of clients who are using that shade in their hair.
• Porous hair with a lot of gray hair is more likely to lose and lighten the color more (especially if the client is wearing a color 7-8 with golden undertones, which will tend to lighten a little more at the roots due to gray hair and porosity).
• It is advisable to apply the dye 7 days after the treatment or to have 3 washes between treatment and coloring. If these margins are not respected, the color may not adhere well to the hair because the cuticle is very sealed.
• In cases of hair that has lost color and the client does not want to wait 7 days, it can be solved by toning the hair with a toning mask.
• For highlights made with bleaching, it is recommended to do it 10 days before the treatment or wait 3 weeks to do it.
